Our client is a leading global provider of energy information. With over a century of business experience, they serve customers across more than 150 countries in the oil, natural gas, electricity, nuclear power, coal and petrochemical markets. They provide real time news, pricing & analytical services as well as daily publications and newsletters.

They are now looking for three new Market Reporters to join the organisation in each of the European Electricity, International Coal & European Gas teams. Responsibilities will include market and news coverage on both a real-time and daily basis, reporting & editing news related to the Electricity, Coal and Gas markets and producing daily market reports. The Market Reporters will also be expected to develop news coverage on related markets and produce analysis for other newsletters in the gas & power group portfolio.

Candidates must have a strong background in journalism or associated field with the ability to generate high-quality copy. The ability to write and edit under daily deadline pressure is essential. Excellent English skills are required and any further European languages would be an advantage, particularly Spanish and Italian. Knowledge of the European gas or power markets is also desirable.
